Files and folders - sndbox docs

File-system nodes operate inside paths reviewed for the workflow. Select local files and folders with the operating-system picker or map a trusted path output from an earlier node.

Node	Result
Read File	UTF-8 text, path, and byte count, with a configurable 1–100 MB limit.
Write File	Writes mapped text, optionally overwriting and creating parent folders.
Move File	Moves a source into an approved destination folder with optional rename.
Copy File or Folder	Copies a source to an explicit destination.
Delete File or Folder	Deletes an approved path; recursive folder deletion is an explicit option.
List Folder	Returns matching entries and count, optionally including subfolders.

Destructive operations

Delete and overwrite settings are visible in permission and test review. Delete requires the path to stay inside an approved folder, and a test run requires an additional confirmation.

Map a downloaded path

Download File.path → Parse CSV.path
Read File.content   → Parse JSON.content
List Folder.entries → Condition.left

Do not convert a path to an arbitrary template string to bypass approval. Keep it as the typed path output so the host can preserve provenance.
