The account area is the control surface for resources that belong to a signed-in person or workspace. It does not replace the desktop editor, and signing in does not make local workflows billable.

What each page is for

The resource links provide downloads, release notes, and support access without mixing those tasks into account administration.

Workspace context

Operations and usage are scoped to a selected workspace. Switching the workspace changes the runners, deployments, usage ledger, and permissions shown on those pages; it does not move resources between workspaces. Workspace roles are enforced by the control plane. A hidden button or an account-page route is never the authorization boundary. See Workspaces and access and Teams and roles.

Local execution remains separate

Local desktop execution and self-hosted runner execution are not sent to the hosted usage meter. Managed hosted runners, managed browser workers, network egress, and retained artifacts are the metered resources.
