Create a Gmail connection from Settings → Connections. The OAuth PKCE flow stores the resulting credential in the host vault; workflows keep only credentialId.

Trigger and read

New Email polls every 1–60 minutes and can filter sender, recipient, subject text, label, and attachment presence. Plain text is included by default; HTML is optional. Processed message IDs are persisted per workflow to prevent repeated triggering. Get Email retrieves a Gmail message from a mapped message or thread ID.

Draft and send

Create Gmail Draft and Send Email expose To, CC, BCC, subject, plain text, optional HTML, and optional reply-to message ID. Send also supports approved attachment paths.
Draft is the recommended default: nothing is sent until a person reviews it in Gmail. Automatic sending is an external side effect and requires approval for the connection and recipient logic.

Labels

Add Gmail Label maps a message ID and accepts label IDs to add and remove. Use label IDs, one per line in the editor, not display names guessed from the mailbox UI.

Keep messages private

OAuth tokens are never returned to workflow output. Enable HTML bodies only when a later node needs them; they can contain more sensitive content than the plain-text representation.
