# General settings

> Choose the startup view, time display, and protection against unsaved navigation.

## Start screen

Choose **Workflows** or **Run history** as the view opened after startup. This changes navigation only; the local runner remains governed by its own paused state.

## Date and time

Choose relative timestamps such as “5 minutes ago” or absolute date/time display. Execution records retain their actual stored timestamps either way.

## Unsaved navigation

Enable confirmation before leaving a workflow with unsaved edits. This catches product navigation; it does not replace revision history, and a forced process exit can still discard unsaved in-memory changes.
