# Screenshots

> Capture the viewport, full page, or one selected element as execution evidence.

Screenshot supports `viewport`, `full_page`, and `element` capture. Element mode adds a structured locator. **Include in execution history** is enabled by default and stores the artifact according to screenshot retention.

The node returns the trusted local or artifact `path`. Use the execution inspector to associate the capture with the exact workflow revision and node attempt that produced it.

## Evidence and privacy

* Capture only what is needed to diagnose or prove the workflow outcome.
* Password fields and elements marked sensitive are masked by managed browser capture.
* Diagnostic URLs omit credentials, query strings, and fragments.
* Detailed screenshots are not included in cloud sync by default.
* Workspace retention policy controls stored cloud execution artifacts.
