# Forms and uploads

> Fill text, choose options, press keys, and attach only approved files.

Form work uses four explicit node types so values, locator behavior, and file boundaries remain visible.

## Fill Field

Choose a structured locator and supply a literal, mapped, or protected value. **Clear existing value** is on by default. **Input delay** accepts 0–2000 ms between characters. Enable **Sensitive** for protected data so the resolved value is redacted from execution data.

## Select Option

Select by stored option `value`, visible `label`, or zero-based `index`. Prefer value or label when the page provides stable semantics; an index changes when options are reordered.

## Press Key

Enter a validated combination such as `Enter`, `Control+K`, or `Shift+Tab`. The key action targets the active page state and uses the configured timeout.

## Upload File

Choose a local file through the operating-system picker. A trusted path output from an earlier file or download node can be mapped after approval. The node never accepts an arbitrary unapproved path simply because it appears in text data.

> Browser autofill and a persistent profile can expose site state to the page. Use a dedicated profile with the narrowest permissions needed for the workflow.
